THE RAILWAY STATION AND PIAZZA VITTORIO VENETO STATION

THE RAILWAY STATION AND PIAZZA VITTORIO VENETO STATION

The train station is immediately in front of Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Historically, it is known remembered for the bombings that occurred on August 15th 1943, the day when many inhabitants lost their lives. In some antique postcards, and old photos of this area, you  can seen that the square outside was not yet present, when the railway station had already been built.
